Day 1 - the 13 hour flight to Amsterdam

3 weeks of being in Holland....YES PLEASE! Of course just to get over there, there is a 13 hour flight. With kids, to most parents would turn that down, to us...its just a minor bump on the way to another adventure. Charlene LOVES to fly, so the day before all she could keep asking about is the flight to see flowers.

Here is a little collage of our first day. When we arrived, we had to wait in line to get our tulip field tickets for the next day. I saw these little key chain shoes, and decided for Charlene & Theodore's bag since we travel often, we can collect little souvenirs for the luggage. These ones are Theodore's. Charlene's are red.
Once we got to the Hotel, after unpacking, Charlene was so tired, she found herself her PJ's and put them on and before we know it, She was climbed into her own bed and waiting for a nap. So we decided to take a nap.
Once we woke up, we found a nice little breakfast place a cross from our hotel. After walking in and the watress talking in Dutch we quickly remembered we are in a different country. LOL
After eating we decided to go on a walk and as we were walking past a store, these bells that were "charming" just decided to ring and Charlene FREAKED out. It was hilarious. We then walked back to the hotel and fell a sleep for the night. Theodore decided to wake us all up at 1:30am in the morning for 3 hours. Which then Charlene was a wake until 5:30am. Time change...always a fun thing. :)
Today we are off to see the Tulip Fields! Pictures to come!
